When Dreaming Gets Tough

November 23, 2016

So here you are, you’ve decided to pursue the passion your heart loves the most: perhaps a goal or a business idea. You’ve done all your base work, you’re dedicated, you show up everyday and put in work… but things are stagnant. You feel as if you’ve failed. Maybe even pedaling backwards. You feel as if you have no idea what you’re doing, and the thought of giving up is running circles around your brain like the Jamaican Olympic Track Team.  So what do you do?

Well, my advice to you doesn’t come with any bells or whistles. To be honest, it’s no secret. Life and pursuing goals is tough. You’ll fall down… hard. You will stumble. You’ll get pushed, and you’ll land smack dab on your face. BUT EVERY TIME THAT HAPPENS YOU GET BACK ON YOUR FEET. Yes that’s right, just as fast as you were knocked down. No matter how many times you need to do it.

“Remember this–Success has been and continues to be defined as getting up one more time than you’ve been knocked down.”

You have to get back up, brush it off, and overcome all the difficult. The nasty. The mean. The unfair.

You want more than what you have now?

Prove it.

You want to turn those dreams into reality?

Get out there and earn it.

You know where it is that you want to be right? GOOD! So don’t stop pushing forward until you get there damnit!

That’s how winners are made.

Keep climbing,

Sidney.
