How-To: Adding Color To Your Wedding | Photo’s That Pop !

January 18, 2017

As if color pallets weren’t hard enough to decide on, now you have to decide just exactly how you are going to make your dream color pallet come to life! Well, it’s your lucky day! Today I am going to share some easy ways both traditional and non traditional ways real brides have, and you yourself can, incorporate color into your wedding, in a way that will show in the photos! Lets dive in!

SHOES

From Jimmy Choo to Louboutins, we arrive at sneakers! Adding your favorite or a new pair of kicks is a great way to no only save your feet but add a pop of color to your wedding day, especially if you embrace non traditional trends! You can even have them re-laced to match your wedding dress! No photo available, but I’d be doing an injustice to the brides who’d opt for kicks over heels any day.

YOUR CHOICE OF SCENERY

Another thoughtful way to add color is through your venue. It doesn’t matter if hanging up colorful decorations, displaying gorgeous center pieces, or letting planet Earth do the work for you, this method works for all brides!

Stacey’s & Angels choice for an outdoor wedding lead to beautiful greens to compliment their stunning adventurous day!

While Nora and David took a more DIY approach and incorporated their pallet into these Tiki Torches!:

And Bianca & Keith incorporated not only their love for salmon, but also bling into their table designs:

Stacey and Angels adventurous choice allowed them to become one with their surroundingsĀ ????

LET THEM EAT CAKE

Speaking of venues, your bouquet, your cake, and your people are all great ways to incorporate color! (Don’t be afraid to ask your attendees to add some color their runway attire, or keep chill on a hot Florida day!

Nora’s cake not only matched her color pallet and her bridesmaids bouquets…

…but her’s as well!

Nora’s Family kept it casual on this hot Florida day leading to a very colorful family photo

While Bianca’s guest opted for a colorful runway ready attire

PRO TIPS:

Remain consistent:

For example, if you’re wearing two pairs of shoes on your day, try to keep the colors & patterns similar.

Look Around

Color is everywhere, even at your venue before you work your magic on it. Ask your planner or think of ways to leverage existing color at your venue!
