Recently, I had the opportunity to an event and I always dress to impress. That’s just me. However, not everyone was pleased with my appeal. I was told something along the lines of “Take off the coat it’s not professional.” I reluctantly bit my tongue because I simply couldn’t believe what I was hearing! I didn’t know how to respond because I was so baffled by the statement. I took a lot of time to reflect because I didn’t quiet know how a statement could be made. Let me explain myself. I don’t expect everyone to know a lot of about fashion, and I understand that the trench is somewhat of a lost art and might only be understood by the older generations. SO. Let’s talk about the trench coat and professionalism.
The trench is a classic time piece that has gotten lost throughout the years. However, one brand has made a point to bring it back. Burberry.

I think I have made the point. I think the best part is, at the same event, I spotted 6 people in a trench coat! Which restored my faith a little bit in the art.
Now enough with professionalism because the coat is so much more. It can be worn in a casual manner.

Plain and simple the trench coat is very versatile and can be worn to fit every occasion. You just have to know how to wear it it!
