Brittany and I met when I was photographing her sisters wedding. Her sisters wedding was my first wedding! She had recently married just a few weeks before her sister took her vows. Studying anesthesiology at the University of Michigan kept Brittany pretty busy. However, once her and Alex graduated, they decided it was best to get married. She is now a Resident anesthesiologist at the University of Michigan hospital. Little did I know, I’d be doing her maternity photos.
Fast forward a few years later, and Brittany is now expecting her first child! Being pregnant hasn’t slowed Brittany down, as she is still in the O.R with her due date approaching quickly. However, she is expecting to take leave pretty soon.
She sent me a message on Facebook letting me know she wanted to get maternity photos done! I quickly replied: I was beyond stoked to take her maternity photos! Ever since they got married, I’ve wanted to get them in front of my camera!
Alex is such a great husband, he really takes care of Brittany. When it got cold during our session, he would constantly go up to her and try to keep her warm, event though she constantly said she was ok. He can make her laugh with ease, and I mean EASE!
Brittany, well she’s just full of joy. She’s just beyond excited to bring her first child into the world. She’s super laid back, and full of laughter. She was so gorgeous rocking pregnancy, I couldn’t stop talking about it. Just slaying the entire day away maternity outfit after maternity outfit!
